Our Story

Facility Support Services, LLC (FSS) was established in 1996 based in Wallingford .  We are a small Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Compliance Consulting firm made up of industry professionals.  Having over 20 years of experience in this specialized industry FSS is recognized by our clients, the State of Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) as one of the most respected consulting firm in the state.  Including our EHS experience, some of our consultants bring many years of Emergency Services and Public Safety experience in both the public and private sectors as well as Educational Institutions.

Facility Support Services can offer a wide array of environmental consulting services to ensure compliance with multiple levels of regulations, requirements, and guidelines.  We strive to not only meet but exceed industry standards and client expectations.  For our industrial clients we provide a vast range of safety compliance, employee/supervisor training, exercise planning and evaluation, develop/maintain written safety programs, permit applications/renewals/revocation, notice of violation/citation response and informal hearing assistance.  Additionally, we cater to the construction, real estate, municipalities, educational institutions, medical and nursing home facilities by offering our Environmental Phase I/II/III site assessments, Hazardous Building Materials Management, Air, Soil and Groundwater monitoring as well as Underground Storage Tanks (UST) and Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST) compliance assistance/inspections/removal oversight/post removal assistance.  FSS has proven to be a valued asset during emergency situations regarding chemical releases and other emergency services.  All our associates have proper training to coordinate spill response teams, supervise HAZMAT clean-up efforts and keep the client and authorities updated throughout the process.  In addition, we can manage and coordinate multiple agency response to many different hazards in both public and private sector.  Our team of EHS professionals tested and implemented our version of distance learning through Freeconferencecall.com, Zoom video conferencing and Microsoft Team Meeting to accommodate the newly implemented social distancing guidelines.
