Scope Of Work
This home in the Cayucos hills was begging for a deck. We built a quaint, 220 sq ft deck with 4 x 12 fascia around the perimeter (We hung the fascia beam from the inverted 2 x 6 with joist hangers). This was a structural necessity as well as a decorative touch.
The home was on a steep slope, so we reinforced the deck with 2 x 2 footings, and allowed for natural drainage down the steep hillside.
