 Buyer’s RFQs  ·  Where you issue requests for quotes on materials and equipment.

 

Click on Buyer’s RFQs, and then click Main (if you are not already there). You will be placed in the Main RFQ screen where you will see any existing RFQs.

 

Buyers Main · Create, maintain and view your RFQs, and send RFQs to your vendors..

 

If you have not yet created an RFQ, or have no RFQs currently active, you will see the following message: “You have no existing RFQ’s, select ADD NEW to begin a new RFQ.  For further information, reference the Quick Start Guide.”  If you wish to add an RFQ, proceed to the Add New RFQs instructions below.

 

If you have RFQs, you will see a small window to the left of the screen listing the existing RFQ titles.

 

Screen Tips

You may use the scroll bar or arrows to the right of the RFQ title window to scroll through the titles.

 

To Display/Edit an RFQ

You must be in the Main RFQ screen.

Click on the desired RFQ title.

Click Display.

 

To Message Vendors:

You may send a message (i.e. Miscellaneous Memo, RFI) to vendors.

Once you have displayed the RFQ as described above you will see  next to the company name.

Click  (the envelope) next to the company’s name and follow the screen prompts.

 

To Add a New RFQ…

You must be in the Main RFQ screen.

Click Add New and you will be placed in the first information screen called the General screen.  For help, proceed to the General instructions further in this document.

 

To Copy an RFQ

You must be in the Main RFQ screen.

Click Copy and you will be placed in the first information screen called the General screen.  For help, proceed to the General instructions further in this document.

 

To Archive an RFQ

You must be in the Main RFQ screen.

Highlight the desired RFQ title and click Display. 

Click Archive.  You will see…

Are you sure you want to archive this RFQ?

You can easily reactivate the RFQ if needed.

 

OK              Cancel

Click OK to archive the RFQ.

Add New RFQ  ·  Instructions to add a new RFQ.

 

Click on Buyers RFQs, and then click Main (if you are not already there).   You will be placed in the Main RFQ screen where you will see the current RFQ.

 

To Add New RFQs

Click Add New

You will be placed in the General RFQ screen.

 

General  ·  Enter your RFQs important dates, notes and delivery instructions.  This screen requires information in any field with a red asterisk.

 

 

RFQ General Information

*RFQ Name

§         Identify the RFQ by this name.

Required entry.

*RFQ Date

§         The issue date of the RFQ.  Default is today’s date.  The date must be today or greater.

Required entry.

*Need Quote By

§         The price quote deadline date.

Required entry.

Need Items By

§         The date you expect delivery of these items.

Relate to Project

§         If you wish to relate this RFQ to a project, click in the dropdown menu.  You will see all your active projects.  Click on the desired project to select.

§         Click “None” if you do not wish to relate this RFQ to a project (default).

§         When you relate a project to an RFQ, certain project information will be available to the vendor.  For example, he may use the system to view the plans and specs to determine the quantity of items needed.

Ship To City

§         This is the city of the possible shipping/delivery location.

§         The default is the city of the users physical location.

Ship To State

§         This is the state of the possible shipping/delivery location. 

§         The default is the city of the users’ physical location.

Ship To Zip

§         This is the zip of the possible shipping/delivery location. 

§         The default is the city of the users’ physical location.

Notes

§         Any notes for your internal reference.

§         These notes are NOT attached to your message.

 

Screen Tips

q       Data must be entered in fields marked with a red asterisk (*).

q       To move from field to field, press the Tab key or use the mouse.

 

If you wish to cancel all fields entered and return to the Main RFQ screen click Cancel.  – OR -

 

Click Continue to Items to the right of the screen to proceed to the Items screen.

Items ·  Enter your line item list of materials, supplies or equipment.

 

Once you have clicked on the Continue to items  button or on the Items tab, and there are no items yet defined for this RFQ, you will see…

 

RFQ: Items

Note: ‘My Catalog’ is a custom list of all items that you have requested on previous RFQs.  If you choose the ‘My Catalog’ button, you can quickly add items from your catalog onto the new RFQ.

Note 2: ‘My Catalog’ can be accessed at any time from the items screen by clicking: Look in My Catalog

 

To manually enter new items click, Manually enter new items.  You will be placed in the Items screen where you will enter item information.

 

To pick items from ‘My Catalog’ click, Pick items from My Catalog.  You will be placed in the ‘Search My Catalog’ screen where you may select items.

 

There are three steps when defining each line item:

Step 1 is where you indicate the quantity, unit, description and manufacturer.  Note: If you selected “Pick items from My Catalog” as described above refer to ‘Search My Catalog’ directions in this document and then continue with the instructions from step 2.

Step 2 is where you select categories of vendors you wish to message for this item. 

Step 3 is where you save to build the item or cancel to clear all fields entered.

 

Step 1:

Line Item Information

*Quantity

·         The number of items needed.

·         Required Entry.

*Unit

·         The unit in which the item must be supplied, i.e. bag, box, carton, yard, etc.  The default is ‘None’.

·         Required Entry.

*Item Description

·         The item description.  Each time you enter an item description it is stored in your custom “Catalog”.  The next time you need to include this item on an RFQ you may click on the link “Look In My Catalog” and retrieve the item description.  See further information on “Search My Catalog” below.

·         When entering item description keep your description as basic as possible.  Once you click in the next entry field The Blue Book’s smart index will be searched and all categories related to the item description will display under “Suggested categories for:”.  This list may be used when selecting categories of vendors to send RFQ to in step 2.

·         Required Entry.

Manufacturer

·         Enter the manufacturer(s) you prefer.  You may key in the manufacturer(s) or use the “Pick Manufacturers” feature.  To use this feature click on the Pick Manufacturers link.  For further details refer to Pick Manufacturers instructions below.

·         The word “multiple” will display when you have selected more than one manufacturer.

Budget Amt

·         Your budgeted dollar amount.

·         This amount WILL NOT BE included in your message.

Notes

·         Further describe the item.  You may use this field to enter the color, model number, etc. 

·         These notes WILL BE included in your message.

 

Step 2:

Category of Vendors for this Item

Suggested Categories for:

·         Based on the item description The Blue Book’s smart index was searched to find related categories.  These categories are displayed under “Suggested Categories for:”.   You may select one of these categories and the group/category will be filled in for you.

·         To select one of these categories, click on the category name.

·         If you see, “no suggestions found”, it means that no match could be found.  The more basic your item description, the better chance that the smart index will find a category match.

·         You may select more than one category per item.

Group

·         The group for this category.

*Category

·         The category of vendors you wish to send this line item to.  Click on the drop down menu to select the category.

·         Required Entry.

 

Step 3:

Save or Cancel this line item

SAVE Item

Once you have completed steps 1 and 2.  Click, SAVE Item to save this item.

Cancel

If you do not wish to save this item, click Cancel to clear all fields.

Vendor Wizard

Once you have completed entering all your line items, click Vendor Wizard to proceed to the Vendor Wizard to retrieve vendors.

 

STEP 1: Enter the specific item information.

·         Quantity: (Required) Enter the quantity required for this item.  If you have attached a project to this RFQ you may want the vendor to determine the quantity by viewing the plans/specs.

 

·         Unit: (Required) Select the unit of measure if this applies or keep the default of “None”.  To select the unit of measure, click in the drop down menu and then click on the desired unit of measure.

 

Item Description: (Required) Enter the item description.  Keep your description as basic as possible.  Keep the description as basic as possible.   For example: for a 36”W by 52”H Pella casement wood window.  You might enter “window” as the description. Use the manufacturer field to specify “Pella”.  Use the notes field to enter the size, model number and color, i.e. “36”W by 52”H, wood”.

 

After you enter the item description and click or tab to the next entry field, The Blue Book’s smart index will be searched and all categories related to the item description will be displayed under “Suggested categories for:” (this may take a few seconds) which you may use when you get to step 2.

 

Each time you enter an item description it is stored in your custom “Catalog”.  The next time you need to include this same item on an RFQ you may click on the link “Look In My Catalog” and retrieve the item description. Or when you type that item description again, the information will be displayed for you with a message telling you that you have previously entered this on another RFQ (even if you had previously deleted it).  Follow the screen prompts to save or cancel the item.

 

Note: If you need to modify the item description once you have clicked in any of the next entry fields, you must first click Cancel at the bottom of the screen to clear the fields.

 

To “Search My Catalog” to retrieve item description…  Click Look In My Catalog”.  You will be placed in the “Search My Catalog” window.  “My Catalog” is a custom list of all items that you have requested on previous RFQ’s.  If you choose “My Catalog” button you can quickly add items from your catalog onto the new RFQ.  For further details refer to “Search My Catalog” instructions below.

 

·         Manufacturer:  (Optional) Enter the specific manufacturer if desired.  You may keep the default of  “Any Manufacturer”.  If you wish to select a specific manufacturer you may key in the manufacturer name or you may click on the link “Pick Manufacturer” to retrieve the manufacturer.  Note: You must enter the item description before selecting “Pick Manufacturer”.

 

To “Pick Manufacturer” for item…  Click Pick Manufacturer”.  You will be placed in the “Manufacturers for Item” window. The Categories retrieved for manufacturer selection are based upon the item description.   For further details refer to “Pick Manufacturers” instructions below.

 

·         Budget Amount: (Optional) Enter the budgeted dollar amount.  This amount WILL NOT BE included in your message.

 

·         Notes: (Optional) Enter any notes pertaining this item.  This field is used to further describe the item.  You may use this field to enter the color, model number, etc.  These notes WILL be included in your message.

 

STEP 2:  This is where you select the group and categories of vendors to send the RFQ to for this item.

·         You may choose a from “Suggested categories for:” which was filled in when you entered item description.  Click on the desired category and the group and category below will be filled in for you.  

- OR -

·         Click in the drop down menu to select the Group from which you will select the category.

·         Click in the drop down menu to select the Category of vendors to send the RFQ to for this item.

Note: You will be given the option to select multiple categories for each item in step 3.

 

STEP 3:  This step allows you to cancel or save item information.

·         If you do not wish to save the item, click Cancel.  The screen will be cleared for re-entry of fields.

·         To save the item, click SAVE Item.  Once you save the item it is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

If you wish to add a 2NDcategory for this item:

Repeat step 2 by choosing from “Suggested categories for:” or select a group and category from the drop down menu.  Once you have selected a category, click Add a 2ND Category for this item.  At the bottom of the screen you will see the word “Multiple” under “Description/Categories”, which signifies there is more than one category for this item.  Repeat this step until you have added all categories for this item.

 

To enter a new item:

Click Start a New Item.  The screen will be cleared and you will be placed back in Step 1.  Repeat the 3 line item entry steps until you have added all items for this RFQ.

 

To modify an item:

Click on the “Description” link at the bottom of the screen for the desired item.  The item will be displayed.  Modify the fields as needed, you may also add additional categories. Click Save to save the changes – OR -  Cancel to clear the screen, cancel the modifications, and leave the item as it was originally.

Note: if you modify the item description and it is no longer associated with the categories, you must do one of the following: Cancel your change and add the new description as a new line item  - OR – Save the change and immediately modify the categories that are associated with the new item description.

 

To view/remove a category:

Click on the “Category” link at the bottom of the screen for the desired item.  A window will open displaying the categories.  If you wish to remove a category, click on the check mark and then click OK.   Note: You must always have at least one category. If you want to change a category, you must add the new one in step 2 and then return here to remove the unwanted category.

 

To delete an item:

All existing items are displayed at the bottom of the screen.  Click in the box at the end of the line for the item you wish to delete, a check mark will display (to de-select, click on the check mark).  Repeat this for all items you wish to delete.  Click Delete and the item(s) will be deleted from the RFQ.

 

Continue to Vendor Wizard:

When finished adding all items, click Vendor Wizard to proceed to “Vendor Wizard”.  For further details proceed to Vendor Wizard instructions below.

q       To return to the previous screen, click the General tab.

q       You may move from one screen to another at any time, by clicking on the Main, General, Items, Vendor Wizard or Price Entry tabs.

Search My Catalog  ·  Choose from a custom list of all items that you have requested on previous RFQs.

 

Once you have clicked “Pick items from My Catalog” or “Look in My Catalog”, you will see…

You may search your catalog for items by Existing RFQ, an Item Name or Group.

 

To Search My Catalog By Existing RFQ:

Click on the button for RFQ (this is the default selection).  You will see all your existing RFQs.

Click on the desired RFQ name and click Display.   If items are found you will see…

To Display Manufacturers Beginning With a Particular Letter…

You may further tailor the list of manufacturers, click on the letter (i.e. A, B, C, etc.) to display manufacturers beginning with that letter.

 

To Display Manufacturers in “My Private List”:

Click My Private List to display the manufacturers that you have previously added. 

You may also add manufacturers by clicking   Add.   For further directions refer to “Adding Manufacturers to Private List” directions below.

 

To Display Manufacturers By Category:

Click By Category to display the list of manufacturers related to the item description

 

To Select a Manufacturer:

Click in the box to select the desired manufacturer.  The manufacturer name will be displayed under “Selected Manufacturers for Item:”. 

 

To deselect a Manufacturer:

Click on the check mark in the box.  The manufacturer will be removed from the list under “Selected Manufacturers for Item:”.

 

Adding Manufacturers to Private List:

Click My Private List.  You will see…

Click in the box to the right of Adding: and type the manufacturers name. Click Save to add the name to your list or click Cancel if you do not wish to add this name to your list.  When you click save the name will be displayed in the list below.

 

To modify the manufacturer name:

Click edit next to the name you wish to change.  The name will be displayed next to Editing:  Modify the name as desired.  To save the changes, click Save or, to discard the changes, click Cancel.

View Message History  ·  View message history for a project.

 

From Buyers RFQs or Sellers RFQs, Click Main.  You will be placed in the Main RFQ screen where you will see the current RFQs.

 

Display an RFQ…

Highlight the desired RFQ title.

Click Display.

 

Click Message History.

You will see message history selection criteria.

 

 

Message History Selection Criteria

°Date Range

Click in the dot to view messages for a certain date range.

From Date

To Date

Enter the “from” and “to” date range for the message history.

°All

Click in the dot to view messages for all dates.

°Sent

Click in the dot to view messages sent.

 

°Received

Click in the dot to view messages received.

 

You may keep the default values of “All” dates and “Sent” messages or select the desired criteria.

 

To view messages, click Get Message History.

 

If there are messages available they will be displayed…

 

 

Message History for Project

Sent Date

The date the message was sent.

Type

The type of message.

Subject

The subject of the message.

Category

The category that was messaged.

Respond By

The respond-by date.

Pages

The number of pages in the message.

Status

The status of the message.  The   button indicates the message has been sent.  You may click on the button to view further message status.

 

Screen Tips

q       To view the next group of 10 messages, click Next 10 >>.

q       To view the previous group of 10 messages, click << Prev 10.

 

To view the “BB-Bid Message Status Report”…

Click on the  button for the message you wish to view status.  You will see…

If any fax messages were undeliverable, they will be listed at the bottom of the screen.  The “STAT” column will show the following codes:

NOAN = No Answer

PVOC = Voice Answer

BUSY = Busy Signal

ICPT = Incomplete

Vendor Wizard  ·  Build your RFQ vendor list.

 

When you first select the Vendor Wizard tab you will see…

 

This RFQ requires vendors for the following categories that are NOT in your ‘My Vendor’ database.

 

         0110 Sample Category

          0220 Sample Category

 

Your options are:

1)       Continue to the Vendor Wizard and allow the wizard to find BlueBook vendors for you.

2)       Go to the BlueBook search and manually pick vendor(s) to add into your ‘My Vendor’ database.

3)       Go to ‘My Vendors’ and manually add a vendor.

 

 

You have three options:

1)       Continue to the Vendor Wizard and allow the wizard to find BlueBook vendors for you.

2)       Go to the BlueBook search and manually pick vendor(s) to add into your ‘My Vendor’ database.

3)       Go to ‘My Vendors’ and manually add a vendor.

 

 

Option One: Continue to the Vendor Wizard to find BlueBook vendors…

Click Vendor Wizard.  You will see…

 

 RFQ #, Sample RFQ Name

 

1.) Select Vendors for All Categories ^ on the RFQ.   ** The Vendor Wizard will find suppliers for categories listed on your RFQ items.

2.) When finding vendors, which is most important:

a)       Select only ‘My Vendors’ from rank 1 to 8.

b)       Select the BlueBook vendors that service: - Select a Region- ^

c)       Select (My Vendors and BlueBook Vendors)  within 20 miles of this zip code.  Show Map

 

3.) Minimum number of vendors that you want selected per category: 5*

4.) Maximum number of vendors that you want selected per category: 10*

5.) Find Vendors:

1) Select vendors from all RFQ categories or a specific category on the RFQ:

The default value is “All Categories”, the vendor wizard will select vendors from “All Categories” on the RFQ. 

 

Screen Tips 

q       The bottom of the screen lists all of the categories on the RFQ.  You may need to use the scroll bar or arrows to the right of the screen to view the list.

 

If you want the Vendor Wizard to target a specific category, click on the drop down menu to the right of “All Categories”.  You will see all of the categories on the RFQ.  Click on the category desired.

 

2) When finding vendors which is most important, Rank, Regions Serviced or Radius in Miles?:

You have three main choices, you must select one:

o        a) rank – If select rank then the Vendor Wizard will look at the rank when selecting vendors.

o        b) geographical region serviced – If select geographical region, then the Vendor Wizard will look at the region serviced when selecting vendors.

o        c) radius in miles from a zip – If select radius then the Vendor Wizard will look at the radius from the zip but it may go beyond the specified miles to meet the minimum requested vendors.

 

Click on the button to choose a), b) or c).

 

If you have selected a):

a)       Select only ‘My Vendors’ from rank to rank.  The default values are 1 to 8.  If you wish to change the ranking range click in the box and modify the number. – OR –

 

If you have selected b):

b)       Select Blue Book vendors that service: If you select this option as being most important then you must select the region.  Click on the drop down menu to select the desired region. – OR –

 

If you have selected c):

c)       Select My Vendors and Blue Book Vendors within ? miles of this zip code. If you select vendor proximity as being most important you may change the default values. 

 

The default values select ‘My Vendors’ and ‘Blue Book Vendors’ which means the vendor wizard will search your preferred vendor list and the Blue Book to find vendors within the specified miles.  To deselect My Vendors or the Blue Book, click on the check mark in the box.  One or both must be selected.

 

Within ? Miles – This is the radius (in miles) from your project zip code that vendors will be selected from.  The default value is 20 miles.  The minimum number of miles is 1 and the maximum is 60.

Zip Code – This is the zip code that you would like the radius in miles search based upon.  The default value is the zip code of your active project.

 

3) Minimum number of vendors that you want selected per category:

The default value is 5.  This is the minimum number of vendors that you would like selected per category.  The minimum number entered cannot be greater than 20.

 

4) Maximum number of vendors that you want selected per category:

The default value is 10.  This is the maximum number of vendors that you would like selected per category.  The maximum number entered cannot be greater than 80.

 

5) Find Vendors:

Once you have answered the questions above and are ready to run the Vendor Wizard, click Find Vendors.

 

The Vendor Wizard will display the elapsed time while it is selecting your vendors.  This may take a few minutes.  While gathering your vendors, you will see at the bottom of the screen, the Categories, the Current Number of Vendors, Number of Vendors Added and the Total Number of Vendors added for each category.

 

Upon completion, you will see a list indicating the Vendors Added (since the last time you ran Vendor Wizard) and the Total Vendors, added for each category on the RFQ.

 

When the data build is complete, you will see…

 

This Vendor Wizard has found vendors for your RFQ!

 

You can now proceed to the ‘Main ‘ tab and send an RFQ message to ‘All Vendors’ or specific vendors.  If you wish, you can skip the RFQ process and send a BUY message to one or more vendors.   To Main

Send RFQ  ·  Send your RFQ to specified or all vendors.

 

To send RFQs you must have created your RFQ, gathered vendors and must be in Buyers RFQs Main tab.

 

In the Existing RFQ’s window, click on the RFQ you wish to send and then click Display.

 

You will see RFQ important dates, budget amount and estimated cost at the top of the screen and Review of RFQ items at the bottom.

 

To send to all vendors (default):

You should see “All Vendors” in the drop down menu.  If not click in the drop down menu and select “All Vendors”.

Click the Send RFQ to button.

Buyers Price Entry  ·  Enter prices received from a seller’s faxed RFQ response.

 

You must be in the “Buyers RFQs” .

 

Click Price Entry.

 

Identify The Vendor:

Enter the vendor number and click OK. 

 – OR –

Select the vendor from the drop down menu.

 

You will see the contact name and phone number displayed next to the vendor name. The item detail will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.  .  If you wish to view the notes attached to the item click on the Notes link next to the description.

 

If the vendor is an advertiser in The Blue Book you will see  next to the phone number. Click on  vendor information (profile). The profile for that vendor will be displayed.  The profile contains the vendor name, address, contact, phone, fax, classifications, message delivery method, geographical areas serviced.  You will also see RFQ information, RFQ name, status, amount quoted and last message sent. There may be some additional information if it was furnished by the vendor. If you wish to view the vendor’s Blue Book advertising, click on the classification name.  To return to price entry, click Close.

 

Enter Price:

·         Click in the price field for the item desired.

 

Enter Alternate Production/Manufacturer Prices:

This allows you to suggest an alternate product or manufacturer, which can fulfill the requirements of the buyer. 

·         Click on the Alt link and the end of the item.  The “Alternate Products/Manufacturers” window will open.

·         Click on the button to select whether this is going to be the same product, but different manufacturer or a different product.

·         If it is a different product enter the product description.

·         Click on the “Pick Manufacturer” link. Click on the letter to display manufacturers beginning with that letter.

·         Click in the box to select the manufacturer and click OK.

·         Enter the price and click OK.

·         You will see the alternate product/manufacturer along with the price added to the RFQ.

 

Enter Notes:

The notes field allows you to enter a “Prices good through” date and any other notes pertaining to the RFQ.

·         Click in the notes field and enter a date and any notes.

 

Please Note: If there is more than one manufacturer for an item, the subtotal is an accumulation for the FIRST manufacturer only.  Alternate products/manufacturers shown in beige are not included.  The buyer will have the opportunity to view and select alternate product/manufacturers of a lower price.  Shipping and tax are estimated and may change depending upon the items selected by the buyer.

 

If you need to clear the fields you entered, click Reset.  To save, click SAVE.  You will see “Saving RFQ Prices”.  When you return the Main RFQ screen you will see the price under “Latest Price” on your RFQ.

 Seller’s RFQs  ·  Where you view and respond to your RFQs.

 

Click on Seller’s RFQs, and then click Main (if you are not already there). You will be placed in the Main RFQ screen where you will see any existing RFQs.  (RFQs are created here from your In-Box as described in the steps below.)

 

Sellers Main

 

If you have no active RFQs:   You will see…“You have no active RFQ’s”.  You must go to your In-Box to access any RFQs.  Refer to instructions below on how to “Re-Create RFQs from In-Box to Sellers RFQs Main

 

If you have active RFQs:

You will see the “Existing RFQs” window showing RFQ name, RFQ date and the sender of the RFQ.

 

To Change RFQ Sort Criteria:

To the right of the window you will see “Sort By”.  You may view the RFQs by “Need Quote By Date”, “From Company” name, this is the company name of the requestor, or sort by the “RFQ name”.  Click in the button for the desired sort criteria and the RFQs will be re-displayed.

 

To Display/Edit an RFQ:

Click on the RFQ desired and click Display. The following RFQ information is displayed, RFQ name, the company name of the requestor of the RFQ, Need quote by date, Need Items by date, ship to address, contact name of the requestor, the phone and fax numbers along with the number of items on this RFQ. 

 

To Message the Buyer:

You may send a message (i.e. Miscellaneous Memo, RFI) to the buyer.

Once you have displayed the RFQ as described above you will see  next to the company name.

Click  (the envelope) next to the company’s name and follow the screen prompts.

 

To Preview an RFQ:

Once you have selected and displayed the RFQ as describe above you may preview the RFQ as it was send to you.

Click Preview and a window will open containing the RFQ.  To close the window, click on the X in the upper right corner.

 

To Archive an RFQ:

Once you have selected and displayed the RFQ as described above you may archive the RFQ.  You may want to archive old RFQs.  Click Archive.  You will see…

Are you sure you want to archive this RFQ?

You can easily reactivate the RFQ if needed.

Click OK to archive the RFQ.

Sellers Price Entry  ·  Enter prices to respond to the RFQ.

 

You must first select an RFQ in the Main screen and click Display. 

 

Click Price Entry and you will be placed in the RFQ where you may enter prices.

 

Screen Tips

To move from field to field, press the Tab Key or use the mouse.

You may need to use the scroll bar or arrows to the right of the screen to view the entire RFQ.

If you wish to clear the prices you just entered, click Reset.

If you wish to return to the Main RFQ screen at any time, click the Main tab..

·         Click in the price field for the item desired and enter the price (There may be more than one manufacturer for each item if the buyer requested it).

Re-Create RFQs from In-Box to “Sellers RFQs” Main  ·  In-Box New Messages is where you respond to your RFQ messages.

 

To move RFQs to your “Sellers RFQs” Main screen:

 Click on the In-Box tab.  You will be placed in the New Messages screen where you will see your messages listed in descending order by the date received.

 

Click on the “Subject” of the RFQ you wish to respond to.  The RFQ will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. To view the RFQ, use the scroll bar or arrows to the right of the window.

We will now create a Seller’s RFQ under My RFQs tabs to allow you to submit prices to the Buyer.
