When
you select the Maintain your BB-Bid profile and password tab you
will see the following information.
Note:
This information (except password information) appears as contact information
on your BB-Bid messages.

Screen Tips
Data
must be entered in fields marked with a red asterisk (*).
To
move from field to field, press the Tab key or use the mouse.
You
may need to use the scroll bar or arrows to the right of
the screen to view all data fields.
To
return to the Main project screen to begin again, click Cancel.
Delivery
of notification of messages…
All
of your project related-messages from other network members will be delivered
to your In-Box. Would you like notification of new entries and or
BidScope project leads by Fax, Email or no notification?
Click on the drop down box to
select desired choice.
For Sellers:
Every time you receive a communication from a potential buyer (i.e.
Invitation to Bid, Request for Quotation, Notice of Addendum, etc.), the
message will be delivered to your In-Box.
As a free service,
BB-Bid will notify you by fax or E-mail that you have received a new message. While we do suggest you check
your In-Box daily (and also run “BidScope” to check for additional project
leads), this free service will assure you receive project communications
on a timely basis.
For Buyers:
While you can also receive the same benefits when you are acting
as a seller, this feature is your assurance that your vendors who register
for BB-Bid will not miss any of your project notifications.
Registration for BB-Bid is free, and project notifications are
free, so both you and your vendors can benefit from free on-line communication
with BB-Bid’s two-way network!
Organize
My Vendors by Blue Book Groupings or CSI (Construction Specification
Institute) Divisions…

Click the button next to your
desired choice.
Should
the Blue Book automatically update a vendor in your preferred list?…
When
The Blue Book updates information on a vendor that is part of your preferred
list, would you like your list automatically updated?
Click the button next to Yes
or No.
When you add a vendor that already appears
on The Blue Book’s database (or if you use the “Vendor Wizard” to select
Blue Book vendors to your project), these names are saved to your “preferred
vendor list”. AS A FREE
OPTION, we will maintain and update those names AT NO CHARGE (i.e. free
list management). Whenever
we update a vendor’s information (company name, address, phone, fax, etc.),
we will automatically update your records.
Note: If you add a vendor that
does not appear in The Blue Book database, we will not attempt
to contact that company to register them or sell them.
We will not contact any names that appear on your preferred
vendor list.
Add
a new vendor profile title to be used in the Vendor Information screen…
Type the Title you would
like to select in the vendor profile title.
You may enter three additional titles…

If
the Blue Book has not identified a vendor profile title that is important
to you, please define the fields below. These fields will be
available to you within the vendor Information
Screen:

When
“Adding Vendors” or “Modifying Vendors” in “My Vendors”, second screen
has three fields (shown above) with no title next to them.
This is where you define the titles of these three fields. You can use these three fields
to record any vendor information not already reflected in the vendor record. For example: D & B Ratings,
Performance Ratings, Home Address or Phone, etc.
The
information recorded in these fields is private and will not be seen by
anyone outside your company (including the vendor).
Please remember that other users of BB-Bid in your company who
log in with the same fax number will have access to the same vendor database.
Change
the default calendar settings…
Start Time, click in the
drop-down box to select a different calendar start time.
Increment, click in the
drop-down box to change the number of minutes in calendar increments.
Duration, click in the
drop-down box to change the daily duration of the calendar.
Click SAVE to save your changes, or
click CANCEL
to cancel your changes.

to your Blue Book information or click GO.

will see the “Blue Book Information Update Request” form…
