FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 29, 2011

(ATLANTA) – The Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance (The Alliance) and The Blue Book Building and Construction Network now offer small, female and minority firms state-of-the-art technology to assist with marketing and business management and an electronic venue where both private and public sectors can post upcoming contracting opportunities and create individual, secure plan rooms.

"Our company is very excited about our strategic partnership with the Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance," said Todd Brown, Georgia Regional Manager for The Blue Book Network. This partnership gives both organizations the ability to deliver high profile construction opportunities, while at the same time helping to fulfill the small, female and minority owned outreach programs for those projects.

"The Alliance will continue to assist small, female and minority firms in taking their businesses to the next level by partnering with The Blue Book Network to bring the latest in technology to enhance capacity, capability and opportunity," said Joe Jackson, President and CEO of the Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance.

Contractors and individuals involved in construction-related industries can find plan rooms and procurement listings for local, state and regional projects on the Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance website at www.alliance4u.org.

For nearly 100 years, The Blue Book Network has been the leader for construction related company information and the source for bringing these industry buyers and sellers together.

The Alliance is a 501c3 non-profit corporation established to address coordinated and cost effective information and education available for small, female and minority-owned construction firms.
